Inventors
UPIC staff are named inventors on two low energy patents called Process Bitumen Coated Aggregates and A material formed from recycled asphalt and construction material and pulverised fuel ash as well as a named inventor of Polyurethane system developed by Hyperlast.
UPIC staff have also worked on the development of a patented single application cement mortar system for the construction and repair of natural stone construction, in partnership with Sika and Land Engineering. As well as this we were also heavily involved in the development of patented resin construction system for natural stone roadways in partnership with the City of Edinburgh Council and Hyperlast
